Terms of Service

1. The service

Easel Edge Palettes is an educational tool for oil painters: interactive historical palettes, a custom palette builder, and a community feed for sharing palettes. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of palettes, images, comments, and profile content you create. By marking content public you grant other users the right to view it within the service, and you grant us the right to host and display it. You may delete your content at any time. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, and do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, or spam.

4. Moderation

Users can report palettes, comments, or accounts. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.

5. Educational content

Historical palette reconstructions and pigment information are provided for education and inspiration. They are interpretations, not guarantees of historical or chemical accuracy.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
